Ngokubambisana ne-University of Seville (Spain), sihlela umncintiswano wezamasiko ohlose ukukhuthaza nokugcina amasiko ethu ngenkathi kuthuthukiswa ubungani bamazwe aphesheya. Indaba exoxa, umncintiswano wezinkondlo noma wamasiko uzoba ngomhlaka 16 Agasti kuya kumhlaka 16 Septhemba 2020 (cishe) lapha eSouth Africa futhi ngabantu abahlala kuleli lizwe kuphela abazobamba iqhaza kungakhathalekile ukuthi banayiphi imvelaphi noma izinhlangano ezinjani. Izofakwa kwenye yezindikimba zase-Afrika eziguqukela kokulandelayo:
a) Ubunikazi Bamasiko,
b) Izinkinga zolimi, kanye
c) Nezinkinga zokulingana kobulili.
Izidingo: Ababambiqhaza bayamenywa ukuthi balethe umbhalo wamasiko, inkondlo, indaba noma umyalezo o ulalelwayo wamagama angama-500 kuye kwangama-1000 wombhalo noma imizuzu eyi-10 yomsindo / ividiyo emide yemibhalo enengqondo / ebonakalayo.
Izilimi ezisetshenziswayo yi-IsiZulu, isiNgisi, iBembe, isiSwahili ne-Esperanto. Ezinye izilimi ezisetshenziswa yimiphakathi ehlala eNingizimu Afrika zingabhekwa.
Abaphumelele abathathu bokuqala bazovuzwa ngokheshi (kuze kube yi- $ 100 USD noma i-R1681) futhi bangafaka izinto zokufunda ze-Esperanto noma ezinye izinto zenani lamasiko.

Storytelling and Cultural Competition

In collaboration with the University of Seville (Spain), we are pleased to inform you that we are organizing a cultural competition which aims at promoting and preserving our culture while enhancing international friendship. The story telling, poetic and cultural competition will be held from 16th August to 16th September 2020 (virtually) here in South Africa. Only people residing in this country will participate regardless of their origin or affiliations. It will be anchored in one of the African themes evolving around:
- Cultural identity
- Language issues
- Gender balance issues
Requirements:
Participants are invited to submit a cultural text poem, story or even an audio/video message of 500 to 1000 words for text or a 5-10-minute-long audio/video for sound/video documents.
The languages of use are isiZulu, English, Bembe, Swahili and Esperanto. Other languages used by communities living in South Africa could be added according to the candidates’ choice.
The first three winners will be rewarded in cash (up to $100 USD or +- R1681) and could include Esperanto learning materials or other items of cultural value.
The following categories of participants will be considered:
- Youth (High School 13-17 years old)
- Young adults: 18-35 years old
- Mature/Old: 36 and above.
We will encourage each participant to deliver according to his or her full potential.

The competition is a project in partnership with Seville University in Spain which subsidises the event.
